Stonewall Farm Stallions’ freshman sire Value Plus got his first 2-year-old winner when Fenceologist captured a 4 ½-furlong maiden special weight heat on June 4th at Evangeline Downs.

Fenceologist broke well and tracked the early pace before drawing 1 ½ lengths clear in the stretch. The gray gelding hit the wire in 53.64 over a fast track.

Out of the Private Talk mare Mum, Fenceologist was bred in Kentucky by Joan Schilke and is owned by Our Blue Streaks Stable and Pre K Stable. Carl Deville trains.

Value Plus, a record-breaking stakes winner by Unbridled’s Song out of the multiple stakes-producing mare Roll Over Baby, stands for a fee of $10,000.
