Three-year-old filly Payton d’Oro became Medaglia d’Oro’s seventh stakes winner from his debut crop, capturing her third straight win in the form of a 4 ¾-length romp in her stakes debut in the $75,000 Instant Racing S. on the Arkansas Derby undercard at Oaklawn Park April 11.

Off as the 7-5 favorite, Payton d’Oro stalked the pace before cruising to the front and pulling away in the stretch to the hit the wire in 1:37.82 for a mile over a fast local main track. Trained by Larry Jones, the bay filly broke her maiden and captured an entry-level allowance race this winter at Oaklawn prior to running her win streak to three-in-a-row in the Instant Racing. Her career earnings are $107,710 for owners John Ferris and Mike Pressley.
