Stonewall Stallions’ Medaglia d’Oro had the session topper Saturday, Nov. 8th at the Keeneland November Sale, as a weanling colt by the leading freshman sire sold for $290,000.
Stockplace paid the day’s highest price for Hip No. 2112. Out of the Affirmed mare Vanity Flair, the colt is from the family of stakes winners Music Maestro, Circulating and La Grande Mamma.
It gives Medaglia d’Oro his third session topper at Keeneland this year. He also had session-topping yearlings on back-to-back days during the first week of the Keeneland September Sale.
