Lawyer Ron, the latest addition to the stallion roster at Stonewall Farm Stallions, was honored by the International Federation of Horseracing Authorities with several high placings on its year-end rankings lists, which was released Tuesday, Jan. 15.

Lawyer Ron received one first-place selection among the prestigious rankings, as he was recognized as the top ranked performer in the Mile category in North America with a rating of 124 – good enough to rank in the Top 10 horses in the world overall for 2007. On another ranking list encompassing just 4-year-olds and up, the multiple Grade 1-winning son of Langfuhr finished in sixth place overall in the world.

Lawyer Ron finished the 2007 season with three stakes victories and earnings of $1.3 million, capturing the Whitney Handicap (G1) in track record time, the Woodward Stakes (G1) and Oaklawn Handicap (G2).

He stands his first season at stud for a fee of $30,000.
