After zipping through an 1/8 mile in :9 4/5 seconds, the quickest work at the training preview show for the Barretts selected sale for 2-year-olds, a colt by A. P. Warrior went for $335,000 when he went through the sales ring on Mar. 22.

Listed as Hip No. 119 in the Barretts catalog, the bay colt is out of the mare Girl Gone Crazy, making him a half-brother to She's Our Annie, a three-time stakes winner. Girl Gone Crazy is half-sister to the stakes winner Devils Disciple, who ran second in the Hopeful S. (G1) at Saratoga.

A. P. Warrior is the only son of A. P. Indy at stud to win graded stakes on both dirt and turf. He entered stud in 2007, with his first crop of foals being 2-year-olds of 2010.
