Noble Court, a 5-year-old son of Doneraile Court, captured his second career graded stakes victory on June 6th, surging from the back of the pack to win the $100,000 Ack Ack H. (G3) at Hollywood Park.
Ridden by Joel Rosario, Noble Court capitalized on a fast early pace to rally nine rivals in the stretch over the local Cushion Track, hitting the wire a half-length to the good. The final time was 1:27.32 for 7 ½ furlongs, and the performance earned the bay horse a lifetime high Beyer Speed Figure of 99.
Trained by John Salder, Noble Court won for the sixth time in 11 career starts, moving his earnings to $335,778 for owner Joy Ride Racing. It was his third overall stakes triumph and second graded win. He won the San Vicente (G2) as a 3-year-old and the J. Hernandez S. at Santa Anita in his last start.
Bred in Kentucky by Brereton Jones, Noble Court is out of the Grindstone mare Grey Dawn Grey, and he was a $190,000 auction purchase at OBS prior to his racing career.
